Lando Norris
Lando Norris won the 2025 Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship with McLaren, his maiden title after a season-long battle with Max Verstappen and teammate Oscar Piastri.
Career
Born November 13, 1999, the British driver won the karting world championship at age 14 before sweeping junior single-seater titles: 2015 MSA Formula, 2016 Toyota Racing Series and Formula Renault Eurocup, and the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European Championship. He was runner-up in the 2018 Formula 2 championship before graduating to F1.
Norris debuted in F1 with McLaren at the 2019 Australian Grand Prix and has driven for the team ever since, partnered at various points with Carlos Sainz Jr., Daniel Ricciardo, and currently Oscar Piastri. In 2025 he won seven races, including his home British Grand Prix, mathematically clinching the title with a third-place finish at Abu Dhabi with one round still to go, and finishing the season with 423 points.
