IMAX’s tallest format opens the picture all the way to 1.43:1 — nearly square, and roughly twice the height of an ordinary widescreen image. Almost no films use it, and fewer still for more than a scene or two. This is the complete, verified list of features exhibited in true 1.43:1 — whether shot on IMAX 65mm film, captured on IMAX-certified digital cameras that open to the full frame, blown up from VistaVision, or animated and rendered for it. Newest to oldest, with how many minutes of each actually fill the frame.

What’s excluded: films shot with IMAX 65mm cameras but presented at 1.78, 1.66, or 1.90 — such as Star Trek Into Darkness or Killers of the Flower Moon — are not on this list, since they never open to the full 1.43 frame. A handful of titles carry caveats in the source archive (rumored, regional-only, or implied 1.43 exhibition).
