USA Times was founded in September 2024. We are an independent news publication reporting on New York, business, technology, politics, and the systems that shape everyday life — from the street up.
Of the three things we set out to do, one guides how we report above all: deliver excellence transparently. We show our work. When we make a claim, we show the data behind it, name our sources, date our evidence, and state plainly what we could not verify. When we get something wrong, we correct it in the open. Transparency is not a slogan for us; it is the method.
How we work
We contact the subjects of our reporting for comment before publication and note when they decline. We separate fact from interpretation. We publish our datasets where we can, so readers can check the math themselves rather than take our word for it.
